WEEKLY GROUP CLASS

Learn guitar - a variety of styles - in a group setting.

Worship, Rock, Classical, & More!

A year-round guitar training program for students in 5th grade and up (beginner through early intermediate), culminating in two performance showcases — one in December and one in May.

Students train in a small-group setting where individual technique is taught on a personalized basis — meeting each player where they are, whether that's a first chord or refining fingerstyle work — while building toward two live performances that give every student real experience playing in front of an audience.

Through weekly group training, students develop:

Solid foundational guitar technique — chords, strumming, and picking patterns
Music reading and tab-reading skills
Rhythm, timing, and playing in a group setting
Individualized technique development suited to each player's level
Confidence and stage presence
Real performance experience through two annual showcases

Program Dates

Fall Semester: August 20 – December 10

Yes, you can sign up and begin after start date! Monthly rate will be prorated based on when you sign up.

Spring Semester: January – May

A detailed program calendar, including any dates off for school breaks, will be provided upon enrollment.

Weekly Class

Thursdays, 7:00-7:50 pm
LOCATION: New studio space this year - the exact location is still in negotiation, but will be in Farragut or Cedar Bluff area of Knoxville

Tuition & Payments

August-December Semester Tuition: $550
Payment Option: Pay in Full or Billed monthly at $110/month

Daniel Howell, Music Teacher

Hi, I'm Daniel Howell — a music educator with a heart for helping others discover the joy of music. I currently teach music at Knoxville Christian School, where I get to share my love of music with students every day.

I hold a degree in Music Education from Tennessee Wesleyan. I enjoy serving my community with my musical talents whenever possible.

I’ve been teaching private lessons since 2019, and one of my favorite parts of the job is watching students grow in skill and confidence. I also have a deep love for composing music — several of my original compositions and arrangements have been performed by my students, which is always a proud and meaningful moment.

When I'm not composing, teaching, or practicing (yes, even pros practice!), you can find me spending time with my big family and wife, Martha (who is also an educator).

I believe everyone has the ability to express themselves through music, and I’d be honored to be part of your musical journey.

Hi, I’m Martha Howell — studio manager, music enthusiast, and proud mom of five! I studied classical piano for 12 years, which sparked a lifelong love of music and creativity. I have the joy of being the music theater director for Cross Creek Christian School, where I bring musicals to life. I am obsessed with Broadway and all things musicals, so you'll find me jamming out to Jeremy Jordan, Joshua Henry, Eva Noblezada, and more!

As studio manager, I’m here to help things run smoothly so that our students, parents, and teachers can focus on what matters most — making and enjoying music!
